·ABOUT

A word about me.

20240924-_NZ87893.jpg

I am a Tomorrow's Leaders Graduate Scholar at the American University in Cairo, finishing my MA in Journalism and Mass Communication. My research looks at how brands respond to AI-generated content, using Critical Discourse Analysis on Dove's The Code and Heinz's A.I. Ketchup to test a framework I call the Human Premium. The work sits at the edge of journalism, brand research, and media studies, and the questions it raises about sourcing, authenticity, and verification are the same questions that pull me toward fact-checking.

Before Cairo, I built bilingual training programs for working professionals in Algeria, designing content that had to land clearly across language and audience. That experience shaped how I work now: careful sourcing, clear writing, and a real sense of who is on the other side of the page. I have carried that into editorial writing, marketing copy, and event work across AUC and partner organizations in the region.

I write in Arabic, English, French, and Spanish. Open to research, editorial, and verification roles, globally, on-site or remote.
